As a prelude to La Collective, its future art and solidarity centre, Thanks for Nothing is presenting its first international exhibition focusing on socially engaged practices in connection with Central and South America.

In 2024, Thanks for Nothing is beginning to prepare the ground for its future art and solidarity centre that will open in 2028 on the former site of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital. Its off-site programme sets out to provide an overview of socially engaged practice on the international art scene. Launching the exhibition cycle is Resilient Currents: On Communal Re-Existence. It will be accompanied by a series of talks, film screenings and performances, as well as guided tours that will engage with audiences who are usually far removed from the world of art.
